have intertel axxess phone switch where or how do you program out bound calls, lets say that an exchange is 262-6xx-xxxx to go out a differnt trunk or line?

ARS is never easy to deal with on any PBX. You have to creat a Dial Pattern in a Route Group in DB Programming. The Dial Pattern matches the Area Code/Office Code combo. The Dial Pattern used will relate to a Facility Group which uses the specific trunk group you want. Good Luck!
