I found a Western electric #20AL candlestick telephone. I am in need of the screw on end piece of the reciever I also need to replace the cord. Does any one know of a place that you can find these parts. I know Ed may have one on his shelf. Aisle 27 row 8. Just kidding Ed. Also what is the best way to clean these?
It makes me sick to think of all of these sets and the old crank wall sets that I threw away when I first started out in this business. It was called the rural Improvement Program (RIP)
Thanks

Western Electric used to fire their boilers with wooden wall sets that had been taken out of service when they phased in Candlesticks!! An old-timer showed me pics of this. What a shame.
