Noticed this on ebay...never seen one like it.

What voltage does it take? It would be cool for my collection!

Looks like that is a 24 volt DC buzzer Jeff, but the notes say it can also be used with ringing current using a capacitor.

Do you have a BSP I can look at?

It is just a simple 18-24 volt buzzer, adaptable for use with AC (between terminals A and C) or DC (between terminals D and C). I really don't think that there's a specific BSP for this.

Thanks Bill and Ed!
I did not see where it could be used for ringing current? Doing a bit of googling I found this:
7F = 682 ohms, 20-60V AC/DC

Jeff, here are pair of BSP's, there are a few more that I can't find right now:

I know that posting links to docs is frowned on, but these are more historic than anything else.

Jeff, don't buy one. I hate to spoil a surprise, but I think Santa Claus will be bringing one.

It won't work as a ringer. It's designed for intercom and other low(er) voltage signaling applications.

The BSP tells the story.

I've seen them on old Bell System jobs. The only time I ever remember using them was on a 1A2 job that was set up for backup battery, where the whole system ran on DC.

Mr. Claus is an equal-opportunity delivery service. His generosity transcends all racial, ethnic, religious and connecting-block bias.

He has been known to give presents even to those unworthy heathens and blasphemers who use B*X.
