We have an Axxess 8 system with a UM voicemail server. I have the 2.212 UM client, and am having trouble getting it to work with Outlook 2003. The client successfully connects to the um server, and the voicemails show up in the inbox, however, when the user tries to open them, they get the message "The custom form cannot be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead." I have 2 machines I've tried it on, and both get the same error. I have users running Outlook 2000, and they aren't having any issues. I did run the install with the user having local admin rights, and the UM forms do show up in the Custom Forms manager. I'm at a loss as to what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

this sounds like a virus protection issue. you must disable virus protection on the Exchange Server and the client in order to install these .exe forms.
