I'm not positive on that system but my rule of thumb is to never insert a card with the power on. That way the issue never comes up. ------------------ | Need a Telephone | Telephone Installers

Station cards are hot-swappable.

You can hot swap everything except the Power and the CPU Card.

According to Inter-tel engineering... the great mysterious voice in the sky... station, line and trunk cards are hot swappable... CPU and VoiceMail cards need to have an orderly shut down before pulling off of the back plane...
