I have a new MOH file for our Cisco CallManager Express in a remote office. How do I load it into flash on the router?
I was thinking I could copy it from our server, but I must have the commands all wrong. Fairly new to this type of system......
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Jon Knowing you from the Telrad days I have to ask Why cant you call the Crisco people and ask them these questions you just got this equipment, it only make since that they offer some type of support, well maybe not. If it was still the Telrad I would tell you to rename the file to moh1-9 and load in the usr/t3/vox directory

ssphone, cisco tech support is not like anything you are used to.. you have to call T.A.C as they call it, and put in a teck support request with an operator who will only put in your request as long as the sn you provide has a service contract, that holds true right down to every phone...
now you have to wait at a minimum one hour for a t.a.c tech to call you or email you, ive waited over 4 hours at times..
so lets say you finally get that call back, the tech will only work on one problem... they are very robotic and completely uninterested in teaching you how they fixed your problem... and they will only fix one problem at a time, you have to put in another request if you have another problem...
weather you are a partner/reseller or end user you get treated the same....
telradmaniacs request would probably get an email response with a link to cisco site and a very confusing doc on how to load a moh file ...
so far ive found better info from doing google searches and getting help elsewhere

And people wonder why we are so against Cisco on this board.

lol.
I had already put the request into the installers, but hadn't gotten a response. I know that this board is always ready to help. There must be some issue with Cisco certified people not wanting to share their knowledge.
Apparently our vendor is only a little more helpful than TAC, which, obviously doesn't say much at all.
as excited as I am about getting cisco certified, I am beginning to miss the Telrad days. Still have a telrad in the home office.....for now.
I can't wait til I get certified and won't have to rely so much on them. Looooonnnnnggg cert process though coming from where I am.

As I previously posted all you have to do is use Adobe Audition and create a new file as 8khz, 16-bit, and save it as a .au or .wav file. Also I have found if you use -12 db as the max-level you will have a better sounding moh file. Once you do this go to telephone services and do a "no moh <current moh file>" and put the new file name in you are good. DO NOT JUST OVERWRITE THE FILE UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO RELOAD THE ROUTER. https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmemoh.html
