We have an Axxent phone system and I'm required to reset the system about once a month ... this is the only way I have found to keep fluky things from happening ... lost voicemail messages ...lights on some extensions not lighting up for all lines ... etc. Any suggestions? It's almost like resetting the system (hard reboot) is like defragging on a computer system ... if that makes any sense ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/smile.gif)

What you need to have done is a scan disk and derag to your voicemail. This can be done by your telephone vendor, the system will need to be down while its being serviced.
Or you could just simply turn off your system, pull out the voicemail hard drive, install that hard drive on another PC as a slave drive and use that PC to scan and derag.
