I recently upgraded a customer to 3.5 and now the outbound notify does not work. Any known issues? Thanks

Notification of a new voice mail from the VMIB? I called this in yesterday and there is no known issue to tech support. I'm having the same problem.

I've had issues with every single version with outbound notify. It seems to be intermittent. Tech support claims they've never heard of this. I just loaded 3.5 but haven't tested it yet.
I finally gave up on SBX sales until they get this (among others) issue fixed.

Oh great.  I just gave it another chance and submitted a quote that I got a verbal on. I am drawing up the purchase agreement now. :shrug:

When you say VM notify doesn't work can you be more specific?
It doesn't attempt to call out? Doesn't grab a line? Gets reoder tone?
Does redial work at each phone? Does speed dial work? Can you dial 9 and get an outside line?
The SBX handles trunk groups and system dialing a bit different from the STS and if you have any inactive line in a trunk group you will get an error tone when the system is doing the dialing.

My experience has been that redial works fine...so do speed dials. At one site reporting the issue the cell notification will work 1-3 times then quit. By reinvoking the cell notification number it will then work for a short period and then quit.

Sometimes a reboot temporarily fixes it too. I'm simply amazed a system they claim has been sold for years overseas still has basic issues.

I don't think it is the same system, which has been in production overseas.
Vertical has changed the software.
That is why there are issues.

Any updates? I am having the same problem. I have upgraded the software revision to 3.5Aq per tech support but I still cannot get it to work. Redial, and speed dial work correctly.

Just checking to see if anyone has figured this one out. In the system im working on we have a pri. The phones do not attempt to dial out. We dial a 9 to dial out.
