Installed a SBX 12 x 48. Customer complained about CO volume. Calls placed to or received from landline telephones are extremely hard to hear, sound distant. Calls placed to or received from cell phones are crystal clear. I have adjusted the CO volume according to Vertical's Tech Support. Any ideas if this is a SBX issue or a At&t issue. if At&t how would I assist customer in resolving. Thanks-
Earl

You can determine if it's an ATT issue instantly by placing a call with your buttset. That being said the issue is with the SBX.
It can take a lot of tweaking on the various volume settings.

I don't get it. An sbx call to or from a cell phone still has to go over a land line...so why the volume discrepancy?

Do you have the PDF from tech support on the settings for RX gain? It tells the recommended levels and not to exceed levels for situations typically found in these long loop low volume problems.
