Hi guy's
I'm new to the MBX , and am getting my feet wet ,I read the manuals , and am getting use to things .....I'm having some relatively straight forward problems .I hope to get some help ....
1. How do I direct a Incoming CO line to have the VM answer without any delay ..
2 . How do I get into VM programming to do the main greeting
3. I created a second extension that the Prime forwards to if busy ..I would like that to go the the Primes VM , but can't seem to get it to forward correctly ..it wants to go to it's own VM box ..
4 . Caller ID is on the CO line but doesn't show up on the phone..

Thanks for any info you can give me ...

jimmy

Are you using standard lines or PRI?

To program the main greeting, you have to be at the very first digital port on the system, and that port has to be assigned as an attendant. Otherwise it doesnt work. I hope they change this in future releases. I assume you are using CCR 1. From the phone, PGM 06, then 2, then the VM slot, then the greeting number 01, then 1.

As far as I can tell, VM does not follow internal forwarding. What are you trying to do exactly?

For the caller ID, are these standard CO lines? Are you getting caller ID from the CO?
