Does Inter-tel strongly promote leasing of their systems vs purchasing?

They prefer to lease them for many reasons, some of which I will touch here. 1) Money, in a lease they make more money. 2) Ownership, When they lease it the customer does not own it. 3) In a lease add on items can be added into it much easier. ------------------ Voice and Data Cabling in DFW, [email protected][URL=https://www.dnrcomm.com/]

We are an Inter-tel dealer in Illinois. We really go with whatever payment option the customer prefers. The lease is a smart option for someone who knows their company will be rapidly expanding in a few years. We offer FMV and $1 buyout options at the end of a lease as well.

I would also suspect that Intertel is doing it to garner more business. Given that they tend to be a little more expensive than many competing systems of equivalent size, it makes sense to help to make it more affordable for the customer. ------------------ Avaya Telephone Repair Intertel Telephone Repair [This message has been edited by paul144 (edited May 10, 2005).]
