Hi, I was just reading some info on Intelligent Router and saw that one of the actions is to record the call. Where does the call get recorded to? Is it the Voice Processing server? Is there a way to record the calls to a high capacity CD or DVD to be stored off-site? We are currently using Voice Print to record all of our Call Center calls but we have run out of ports and licenses and I am looking at options other than upgrading Voice Print.
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't recommend using IR as a call recorder. It uses the Record-A-Call feature to record to a specific mailbox. The issue comes in with what RAC requires: VM ports, VM Storage & conference circuits. If you lack any, the RAC will not work. The Voice Print uses its own resources and is independent of the PBX. You might be able to throw more Hard Drive space at that box or offload to a SAN or different PC.
