I am quoting a multi-site MBX system and I have a few questions regarding the networking of the two systems. Any help would be great. Their current configuration is as follows - Both locations have an XTS networked with a point to point T1. They are using a centralized voicemail. All incoming call (node or hub) currently pushed directly to the voicemail at the node then the auto attendant and distributed to both locations from there via extension entering or menu selection. The node is using 1xxx extensions and the hub is using 2xxx extensions.
My big question for the MBX is can the auto attendant transfer calls to the hub 2xxx extensions through the network system using a feature like “NET TRANSFERâ€Â.
I have already asked Vertical and waiting for a response, but any experience or help would be greatly appreciated.

It should be able to do that. I belive you can have a centralized AA but you will not have centralized voice mail. You will need voice mail at both sites unless you use an analog voice mail. The MBX is not as feature powerful as the XTS when it comes to networking. Not yet anyway.
