Put one in recently and both the remote option and the deskset method of recording the greetings says busy in the remote option and no channel at the deskset...If system is restarted remote option works fine for a while deskset still says no channel when trying to record. Anyone run into anything like this? Only time I ever saw no channel was when the VM card wasn't showing on a system, however the AA is still playing fine etc. Anyone else run into this? Sounds to me like ports are getting hung up however the AA as said is working fine which would make my first conclusion false :shrug: ..

Well found out the answer. Whenever someone is in the VM another person cannot record an attendant greeting. Bravo vertical, bravo.

Hmm I've never had one issue with SBX I can't say 100% that I've had anyone try but I've never heard a complaint with many AA intensive systems...

Yes, because I am experiencing this right now with the SBX that that I'm troubleshooting regarding the vm memory full and I also saw it stated in the manual...To record or delete a message at Attendant station, all VMIB ports MUST be idle.

Just to clarify we are talking about a menu or system greeting not a voice mail message.

I had an issue with one mailbox, it would say no chanel and when I looked at program 101 it would always show the last port on the voicemail as busy. I reset the system with program 103 and the mailbox started working properly... however it stilled showed the last port of the voicemail as busy. I would have powered down the system but it is a cataloge sales customer and was during a busy part of their day... haven't heard back from them but I am woundering if the port will release on it's own.
