Hey guys,
We have a customer that wants their busy/timeout and 0 action in the auto attendant to go to a General mailbox which would be a phantom mailbox. I cannot figure out how to get it done? Is this even possible?

Which system? SBX? Generally, you set the CCR and assign Mbox 200.

It is for the SBX, and they want to ring a few phones, then when it hits the CCR if they dont select anything or if the press 0 send the call to a phantom mailbox, it wouldnt let me select it.

You have to select Virtual Mailbox, data 200-249 out of the drop down, I take it you are trying to put in StaVmail and it's saying invalid param?
And if you're using the 3 options at the bottom that's kinda thinking outside the box I guess. I'd probably send it to a station group, set the overflow to 0 and set it to the virtual mailbox that you want to.

I have the exact same situation, and the customer wants to have the CCR greeting play only once, then if nothing is dialed or the caller dials 0, they end up in station 100's mailbox. Is this possible?

Somewhat Ed, but you'll have to play around with it. Is it okay if x100 rings? If so:

1) Change the DISA Retry Count to 1. This will force the greeting to only play once.

2) For CCR option 0, send it to the STA Voice Mail of x100.

3) Set the Error/Timeout Destination to a hunt group. Set the hunt group overflow timer to 1 second and set the overflow destination to x100. This will cause x100 to ring, but the calls should flow through to the mailbox.

Thanks, Larry. Wow, I have so much to learn for something that I thought would be so typical!
