We have a customer that the operator answers all calls, and when a call comes in the line is green, and when she puts someone on hold it stays green so she gets confused on which line she has holding and which is ringing...You wouldnt think for 4 lines it would be that big of a deal but to her it is. Is there any way to change this or are they stuck?

Actually, a ringing line is supposed to be orange. It turns green after answered and flashes green when on hold.

I will have to try it out on my install Friday, our demo unit is being leased by a company that lost their stse cabinet. We are waiting to see which system they will buy from us.

If she is truly confused over which line is ringing, just have her hang up a moment and then go off hook to automatically connect to the ringing line.

That's what I told her to do but it is not the partner they used to have....I am going to play with the dss indication at my install tomorrow
