I use G-Mail and optonline for email to my Droid.X
The G-Mail is fastest to my Droid followed by optonline 5-10 minutes later.
Any ideas on an e-mail provider with a faster push then G-Mail ?

G-Mail uses push technology and its almost instant. I just sent myself a test message from one account on a different ISP and it took about 12 seconds for my phone to notify me. How much faster do you want?

I am using Gmail on my iPhone and its instant as well. What is your lag time? How do you have it configured? Are you setup for POP or IMAP? IMAP should be practically instant.

If your email provider can do IMAP you can speed it up to almost as fast as Gmail using K9 Mail. I switched my Gmail account to be checked by K9 and it is still pretty fast and that way I can have a unified inbox. Love the quiet time feature, no more getting woke up at 2am for some damn advertisement email.

No problem Ken,
I guess I misunderstood your post a little. It sounded like your Gmail was slow and you were looking for something faster. What are you looking for as far as speed? Push technology is pretty fast and my Exchange and Gmail normally comes in within a few seconds.
