We have an Axxess system running version 6.007 with 2 DKSC 16 +, 1 SLC 8, 1 T1/PRI, and 1 OPC card. Is the OPC card really necessary since we have 2 DKSC + cards? Just trying to free up some real estate without having to upgrade to an additional cabinet.

TIA!

You need an OPC if:

More than 8 ports of VM
Need more conferencing resources
need more MOH ports
Need more than what the 16+ offers.

With 5.2 and higher, the DKSC16+ offers:

4 DTMF Receivers
4 Caller ID Resources
16 Enhanced Spkr

This info should be in the install manual
