I've got an Axxess v9 system and I'm getting an error 'SYS ALARM #100'. The manual indicates its a low priority alarm but not what it actually is. Can someone tell me what the error means and/or is there a complete list of errors/alarms I can get my hands on for this and future problems?

Thanks

Do not have a 9.0 book, but in previous versions it was exxessive data error, meaning one of your phones are going bad. It should show the ext number or port number when it shows alarm.

From the 9.0 Install Manual

100 Device x.y.z `xxxxx’ Reset Due To Excessive Data Errors – The indicated phone
has detected an unusually large number of data errors from the corresponding keyset
card and has been reset (dropping any active call). If the resets continue, the system will
“lock out” the phone. The data errors may be caused by a defective phone (perform
keyset self-test), defective wiring, defective station cable, or a defective keyset card.

Is there anywhere with a complete discription of the codes? I called the company who installed the system and they came out and fixed it but I'd love to be able to diagnose the problems as they come up in case I run into something and the repair guy cannot make it out right away.

A list of all of the codes is supplied in the install manual under troubleshooting. Also if they have provided you with the programming software you can use diagnostics monitor to view the message print to see more info about the alarm. As in what port and ext # are having the problem. Etc.
