On the Axxent system, there seem to be two seperate applications for voice mail, one for leaving a message(ext 299), one for user to retreive messages(Ext 296).
I would like to program the keymaps on the phones to allow a user to transfer a call to a voice mail box (much like on the axxess) and this works when a DSS/BLF key is programmed for ext 299, however this adds several steps when checking your messages (push *, then dial your mailbox number, then your password instead of just pusing VM and then your password)
Is there any way to combine both applications without two seperate buttons on the keymap?
Thanks Michael

The phones should have a MSG button that flashes when they have a new msg... other than that, I'm sure you'd want to keep those applications seperate or it might be confusing to outside calls.
