Proof That an NEC IPK is better than an SV8100 (even though it’s supposed to be superior!!)

Customer wants

DID Call
Announcement Plays “Blah Blah”
Rings On Dterm 101, and Analogue 102
No Answer on Dterm 103 and Analogue 104
No Answer on Dterm 105 and Analogue 106

IPK Solution (Think US called it elite)
Send call to Virtual xtn “200”
Set virtual key 200 on Dterm and analogue (set immediate ring) 101, 102
Set virtual Key 200 on Dterm and analogue (Set Delay Ring) 103, 104
Set Call Forward No Answer on 200 30seconds to 201
Set virtual key 201 on Dterm and Analouge 105, 106
IT WORKS

SV Solution (well not the solution)
Send call to virtual 200
Set Call forward all to In-mail or UM8000
Voice mail provides Message Then transfers call to loopback trunk “201”
201 Loopback rings back on IRG 1
Dterm and Analouge in IRG 1 101, 102
IRG no answer dest set to IRG 2
Dterm And Analouge in IRG 2 103, 104
CANT Make ring on third set of extensions!!!!!

Help?????

You would most likely have to put the loopbacks into a Dept GP.
Have a look at this and see if it helps

I agree with you this was one of the things that the old elites could do better that the SV8100 systems. Have ringing virtuals on analog ports.. It's been requested many time but looks like it will never happen..

Yep, I know your pain. Easiest way to do this is ring the analog slt port and make that your virtual on the digital phone. Want to make it seamless just create the call coverage under an unused key (like 25 on a 24 button phone) and set the extension for auto pickup on coverage keys.

Now, if you wanted useless, let's talk about CAP and Intercom keys replacing my built in loop keys I had on the UX, Aspire, I-Series and Onyx..THAT is useless and stupid. mad
