Hello Forum,
I have an upcoming ticket to add a Messaging-on-Hold box to an Aspire. A tech from another company went out to the site and couldn’t figure it out, so now I have the return trip.
I have not worked on NEC in a few years, but knew the i-series, Elite, and NEAX all very well. Is there anything I need to know about the Aspire?
I think I remember a jumper setting on the CPU for MOH and setting the music source in system programming, can anyone confirm or deny my recollections? And/or refresh the details?
Thanks in advance

You need an 8p8c plus wired on the center pair into CN23 on the CPU. Then software programming to enable external background music.
