Since I've never done it before. Is it possible to backup a gen 1 iPad and restore from the backup to a brand new iPad?
Thanks!

yes... plug it into your itunes and backup. Then, when you plug in your new iPad, it will ask you if you want to restore from a previous backup. Works like a charm.
