We have a CIX670 with an MIPU card. I have a Cisco ATA 186 that is, as of this moment, working with it.
The Cisco ATA is on the same network as the MIPU card, so NAT or firewall issues cannot be causing the issue. When the ATA initially connects, it doesn't work correctly. It can make calls, but the moment the person on the other end picks up, the ATA changes to a busy signal. If we try to call the ATA, the ATA doesn't ring and the phone we are calling it from doesn't ring either. The ATA did this the first time we tried to connect it to the CIX and it did it when we left it on overnight.
I'm not sure exactly how we fixed the ATA. We rebooted it a couple of times and we used the iPhone SIP client, Media5, and it started working after that.
Does anybody have clues on what is causing this? We mirrored the port the ATA is on and plan on sniffing the traffic when it breaks again.
Also, when we try to set "IP Phone Login Password" to Enabled, we get an error: "CTX Error: (0x319b39) 0,0,49,260,57". We have entered a "Security Code" (Option 43 under Station Assignments) and we continue to get this error when we try to enable the "IP Phone Login Password" (Option 49 under Station Assignments).
Thanks!
