Intercom to intercom voice mails left are also clear This leads me to belive that its got to be the phone lines except that the phone lines are clear on phone calls .Has anyone ever seen this ? Is the processor an R8? I think that is a known issue when using a Partner Voice Messaging with an R8 processor.

I beleive there is a patch (update rel) to fix that. A ABP can get that for you if yopu can't.
I had a similiar problem twice with R8 and the patch fixed it.

The header implies a large Partner Voice Messaging.

On the other hand, the request to clarify which voicemail is being used could be warranted.

"vm lg cards" could also mean Partner Mail VS or Avaya Partner Messaging (voicemail "large cards").

At this point I don't think it matters what VM he has. He changed everything.

Me thinks something is amiss with the symptoms you are reporting.
