Partner Plus, Rel 4.0.....losing memory on power fail....
My memory is also lost on power-fail....internal battery
soldered in or slide-in? Size/part number??
Would like to have everything i need before I drive all the way out there.....thanks, men.........

3.6 v, soldered in. Sandman sells them, I've used a 3-AA cordless phone battery pack and some hookup wire to solder to the board and stash the battery in the corner of the module.

Ive had them made a batteries plus . I like Tommy s idea though

you need a decent soldering iron and should be comfortable with board level soldering . I would also have a spare processor on hand just in case

With a system this old I would also recommend talking to the customer about upgrading.

It's really time to upgrade.. Sometimes you can do more harm then good replacing this battery.

I'd also suggest an upgrade. Either a refurbished Partner ACS R6 or a new IP Office.

Thanks for all the help, men.......I agree that this unit should be upgraded...in a private residence, both owners old, ill, and struggling. They really just need the door phones....Doin' this just cuz I can.
