Can anyone help in the setup of external paging an an AXXENT system? I currently have a cable connected to the RCA jack on the axxent and the other end is connected to a PA system. I can voice page to the phones just fine but not to external speakers. Is there a setting in the database programming that enables this feature?
Thanks in advance. Jim

Im sorry to bring this old topic up, however I am having the same problem. I have a Valcom amplified speaker but I do not get any audio. I looked through the database but nothing seems to have anything to do with that port.
Thanks in advance
Michael

You set up yer page zone to include the external page port. Page zones can include keysets, trunks or the external page port.

We used a port on a Loop Start Card with a Valcom system. You can add keysets and trunks within each page zone. A loop start port is programmed as a trunk in the page zones. Then all you need is a connection between the port and the Valcom. We have a punch block used to cross connect devices to the VAlcom.
