Hi all. I've been given our companies first SPNET install and I'm hoping that someone can point me towards some resource that would explain what is needed to accomplish this and how to set it up. All of our previous Samsung systems have gone in with analog trunks and digital sets for smaller companies so I'm in a little over my head.

The plan is to take two OS7100 systems on opposite sides of the city and allow station to station dialling between them. There will be no sharing of trunks or anything fancy beyond that.

Any help or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Info received is great and works like a charm. However, the customer sprung an additional challenge on me. They now want calls ringing into a station group on node 001 to ring 4 sets on node 001 and 3 sets on node 2. I was hoping it would be as easy as adding remote sets to the station group, but that doesn't work as the system treats remote extensions as external calls via LCR. Any more advice for me out there? Please?

No, unfortunately the remote extensions can not be part of the same group. Ring on one site then over flow to the next group is your only option (next group can be on the other site).

Cheers, Dave.
