I have an OS7400 PBX utilizing VOIP. I have Cisco 2950 switches with Enhanced IOmage IOS, so I want to do Auto-QOS on these switches. For tagging voice, Cisco uses COS=5 and DSCP=46. How does the 7400 tag the voice? What are the default COS and DSCP values set to? I am using SMT-I3105 phones.

Thank you for the COS info. I could not find anything about default DSCP values for the 7400 on Google
You need to do this in 2 places.
MMC835 for the MGI/OAS
MMC840 for each ip handset
COS 5 is 10100000
not sure on dscp but you can google it to find out

I ran into this issue with a bank I was installing. In order to get the dscp value to 46 i had to set my tod fields to 10111000 Once we realized that, things started working great.
