System IPT phones come back up at main building after a reboot but the building across town those IPT's don't come back up, they show disabled by fault and can not enabled through Enterprise manager. If you reset the phones they come right up, reset by 3-6-9-Hold or by power removal. Tried new phones and old phones in main building and everything works at main, nothing at across town location. Phones operate fine once up and only have issue after reboots.
The main bldg has a 192.xxx.1.xxx address, the other bldg is 192.xxx.20.xxx. The IT person states they work fine it has something to do with the system.

Traditionally I have seen remote IP phones get stuck trying to connect to an IPU accross a LAN. I had thought the newer firmware would prevent this.
Typically when an IPT losses connection, it will reboot, search for the 1st and 2nd IPU programmed in memory. if it doesn't find them, it will broadcast on the LAN looking for a local IPU card, if it is enabled on the phone.
I now, out off habit, change FB11 in the phone's setup from Broadcast, to Manual, for all phones that are not local to the PBX. This way the phones never try to look for the IPU locally.

Setting the phone to manual, not broadcast has alleviated similar issues for me in the past, we also always set them that way now.
