Had to update Auto Attendants last night on a system. After finishing, I noticed I couldn't place outside calls. I could select an outside line, but if I touched any number but 9, I would immediately get an error tone from the ACS. If I keyed 9 then any number, I would get an error tone. CO lines are good. I checked for line restrictions, number restrictions, and forced codes and none of that is active. What am I missing? Thanks.

Sounds like you may be in Hybrid mode?

Should be in key mode, but I'll check that. Now that I think about it, I arranged the phones that can't dial out into a Night Service Group. I'll undo that... the Night Service restrictions are probably blocking outgoing calls. No one knows if a System Password (#403) was set (all employees here are new and there no documentation), so I'll probably blow that out too.
Fill in your profile so we know who we are talking to.
Broadcast engineer...just inherited taking care of this small radio station, first Partner ACS. Most of the other sites I care for have old Nortel systems. I've been busy blowing out old VM boxes and other reprogramming for the new boss, so this will be my first noob mistake. The ACS actually integrates nicely into small radio station operations...wish I had more of them.

All fixed...clearing the Night Service group did the trick...lesson learned. Thanks for stimulating my brain cells (or it is cell?).
