I have definity audix r4 the voice mail system is up and running , but can't get a login prompt to make changes on system.Had customer do a shutdown on audix did not help. Has c
plug plugged into external modem, call into modem ,modem answers
have blinking cursor no login prompt.Customer has ASA software he uses , he has ip address to get onto audix to make changes same results gets blinking cusor to login prompt.
New customer any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is there a pc on site to connect RS-232 to the "A" connector of the Audix cable? If not bring a laptop with RS-232 and cable when you visit the site and see if you can login that way.

Does the customer have a monitor and keyboard connected to the switch and definity Audix. Also check the modem to see if the dip switches have been changed.
