Customer has an STSe, with latest/greatest software, with two V10000 DECT phones on it. The DECTs are programmed to ring on incoming calls. If a call is answered by any phone other than the DECTs (which is what happens most of the time), the DECT phones continue to ring and their base unit[s] have to be powered down/up to get them to stop. Obviously this is exceedingly frustrating to the customer, and so the $400 phones sit on the shelf, not being used. Vertical tech support had no solution.
Anyone experienced this, or have a fix?
Thanks as always....

Never seen this. Does the caller continue to hear any ringback or does their answered call behave correctly at the answering station - and does the line hang up correctly - with the CO line going out but the DECT phone still ringing?
If you substitute a standard SLT for the DECT phone does the ringing continue or does it quit? That way at least, you will know if it is the DECT phone or the SLT port that is at fault.

MNDave- Thanks for the post (5 months ago). This issue had died down, but is now back with TWO customers, total of 5 DECT phones between them. Both using STSe with V10000 phones. We have successfully deployed DECT phone at other STS sites.
1. The DECT phone continues to ring after the call is answered at another station, even after the other station hangs up the call. Customer tells me that the only thing that will stop the ringing is removing the battery. 2. We did not try the SLT substitution, because the DECT phone uses a digital extension port.
I wonder if its an STS/STSe issue. ?? Software is upgraded and current.

Sorry about the SLT confusion. Of course the DECT phones are digital. I think I was thinking of SBX at the time.
Your problem sure points to a problem with the DECT phone. It would be terrific if you had access to the first release model to test with. I don't have any other ideas to isolate the problem. Bummer.
