Gentleman, I've been a telecom tech for nearly 30 years now, but I never was much of a hand with computers. The laptop that I've used for the last 8 years recently died and I really need to get it's replacement set up with an FTP server. I've downloaded GuildFTPd, but I'm a little unsure of how to set it up to communicate with a Mitel 200 ICP. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind of a stupid question, IMHO. If you don't understand either, hire someone who does.

You can use any FTP application to save the database from an ICP. Just set both on the same network, configure your PC as the host and save the database to the host. Very easy to set up and very easy to save the DB.
