Upgrade to xx.5.52( call esi to have them send it to you) It is supposed to fix the audio issues )

There's also a firmware upgrade to the phone itself. The latest firmware release for the 40D is V1.13. Released in 6-23-2011. The 60D just had a new release to V2.0 last week.

I'm at the point where I am no longer willing to sell the Model 40s until ESI gets their act together on this. 2 different firmware updates, each one with its own set of issues.
Sending guys out to reload firmware on new phones has killed every dime of profit we had in these jobs.
Between this fiasco and their complete failure with the 900, I'm really starting to lose faith in the "new regime" down there.
It's a shame, really, they have been such a great company to work with up until the last 2-3 years.
