I am trying to power up 2 Nortel phones with one ethernet out of our baystack.. Is there a specific switch that I need to use to get that to work? I have tryed a standard switch with no luck passing power,

You need a POE Switch

Is there finally a standard for the voltage of the POE Supply. I know some phones use 12VDC, some use 24VDC and some use 48VDC. Last time I used any POE it was 48VDC for a camera.

You can use a PoE switch or a local power supply (best for only 2 phones).

You need a Nortel PBX or BCM of course as well.
