Does anyone have a working image or hard drive image that they would be willing to share of a 7243?
I have taken over one that's dying, I tried to Ghost the drive, which said it worked successfully, but the ghosted drive will not work. I've tried the image on different sized drive thinking that the 80Gb I started with may not be recognized.
I don't have a working image to try. I have two more boards but no good drives.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Very likely the drive geometry of the new disk is incompatible with the bootstrap loader on the HD. If you could find a drive with the same head, sector, cylinder map you'd probably have better luck. I'd use Paragon Drive Copy though as it is better IMO than Ghost. Replacement VM cards are selling for peanuts on eBay.

Pretty sure the board BIOS isn't going to recognize the 80GB HD. The factory spec was IBM/ DPLA 25120 5.12GB Hard Drive.
