Hello -
I am configuring a new Officeserv 7100, with an MP10a. Both web tool and Installation Tool for my laptop access does not work. Default pw should be, *****, but I'm just getting, "Invalid Password". User ID is admin.
Thanks for any help,
Aldo

What software are you using. Samsung changed the password on 4.60b. It's on the website as new features with the software release.

Wow, really. Man! These guys I'm working with (where I purchased the system) would sure help me out if I could have known this bit of info. So unless you know the new pw, I will relay this to telephones.com as they should be able to get that. I hope. Thanks sooo much!
FYI, I do have 4.60b

The new software to download from GSBN is DM, Device Manager, better than IT Tools.
Not sure I don't think IT Tools has everything for 4.60b.

IT Tool is not supported past 4.53c DM is backwards compatible with all V4 OS7000 systems.
Not sure what versions you can use the VM part of DM with though (I have used 4.46 and higher)

I am having trouble accessing my trunks. Getting, "Invalid Number begin again" on the D5121 Display. Trunks are just regular CO Lines. Any idea? Same system Officeserv 7100.
Thanks so much,
al

Al, You may want to start a new topic next time instead of continuing in this one. What codes are you trying or what keys are you using?

Hi yes, I should have started a new topic. Just pressing the line button is giving me this message. I was told it would work right out of the box, but neigh. I don't believe it would have been restricted in a default state. I am doing most of my programming using the Device Manager, but looking at the MMC 301, 304, and 614 will start to see if something is wrong in those MMCs. Any ideas would be great. This is m 1st Samsung, and I really like it, but I'm up against it trying to cut it over.
Thanks for any suggestions,
al

Did you default the system after installing all cards? If a trunk card was added later you may get that message

As it comes out of the box, most Samsung people run MMC 811 and program it to their taste but that is up to you.
