Not usually. You have to enable trunk to trunk if used in that manner.

I have call forward off-prem enabled in cos, and set to release transfer out of LX voicemail, set call forward all in virtual prgrm 24-9. 9+1800#. Watching the port status in the LX, and it transfers to the virtual and releases, but comes back to the voice mail after 10-12 rings.

I typically set the virtual as you describe above, but set my virtual to CF B/NA to the offsite number, then set the time class for the virtual to 1 or 2 seconds of delay call forward. It will work that way and if you ever put that virtual on a phone as a key it will not constantly blink.

As IPK II stated earlier confirm your CPU version, older ones had issues with call forward.

10-12 rings? Where is this call fwd to? Do they not have some kind of AA? Make sure you are using fwd all. There might be a timer controlling the trunk to trunk transfer on this causing the call to recall back to the IPK II. I still think over 10 ring cycles is too long before the other end answers, however. BTW, I think ver 1.6 was stable.
