Has anyone had this happen? I have one user that this happens to a lot. I have been able to experience it but not reproduce it. Interchange VM/XP with MP5000. User will listen to new messages, on 5th one it exits to Routing Box 821 before he can do anything with the message. I experienced it on the 3rd new message. The message played thru and right before the envelope info was played, bam, right into 821. I logged back into box, that message was now saved, I resaved it as new and listened to all 3 again no problems this time. I left 5 test messages and listened to all 5 with no problems. This is the only user complaining about this. I have deleted and rebuilt his box 2 times. I have also scanned the VM database and defragged the HD. It still happens & only with this user.

Check seconds of silence and non-silence to start with.

system is hearing a tone or silence. Try change silence setting to 99 and other setting to 99.

Seconds of Silence = 15, Non-Silence = 99, only one user has complained about this.

Strange is it may sound I have had this from the callers voice. Usually a high pitched lady voice. When you had it was the caller a women? The system hears her voice as touch tones. There was a setting to change for this but not sure where it has been a while

The installation manual and tech tips address seconds of silence, non-silence, talkoff, etc. Your settings are good as far as the seconds of silence/non-silence go. Have you run a trace while duplicating the problem to see what voicemail is "hearing"?
