Sept 28th Google rolled out a filter to target low quality exact match domains. And EMD would be Business-telephones.com targeting those key words. But it doesn't seem to have worked, many key word domains still rank well...or it must have had to be of real low quality. However it did have some affect, if you search Business telephones the site above isnt found in the first few pages, unless you search with the (-) and the (.com) part.

Google made more changes than just dashes or characters. Google turned off their Base product, for you who do not know Google Base, this product is/was their Google Shopping. We had over 6000 items listed in the Google Shopping and now we have zero. They told us the new version would be called "Google merchant center". We loaded all our products into the new version with the necessary data base changes. Since we have put the items back into the Google merchant center they have NOT put them back into the Google Shopping. We called Google and asked what the reason was why our products have not gone back up in the Google Shopping. Google's reply is that the Google merchant center will not be free and everyone would have to purchase Google Adwords and fund campaigns to get products re-listed in the Google Shopping. Google does not even have a drop dead date on this issue and I think they are all over the map on this. We have been down this road with them before regarding pay per click Ads and it is a very slippery one to say the least. We have gone a month now with no sales from Google Shopping and I have heard of competitors going out of business because of this issue. Not good Google...
