I had a phone working for 10 years as extn 100. Somehow, someway, we must have changed something in programming. Now we get "not installed" when we call it. Please help!!!!!

In the old days, if you shorted the extension on a larger system, it changed the phone type.

Perhaps if you enter programming from another phone you can read the phone type and reset it. Just a guess because the 824 didn't have very many options.

Suggest you break out the installation manual and get busy. Carl has already said that, I just wanted to make it clear. Note that the DBS series is out of production and no longer supported by Panasonic. In fact, if my info is correct, the division has been dissolved!
