i've got an 8662 i'm going to be sending overseas to one of our employees. the supplied power supply is for 110V only, and i was considering buying a 220V adaptor to prevent the employee from potentially blowing things up.
i'm trying to figure out if the 8662 uses the industry PoE (power over ethernet) standard or if intertel decided to do something else entirely. if the 8662 uses the normal PoE standard, i'll just buy a 220v capable PoE adaptor, if not, i'll have to figure something else out.

The 8600, 8620, 8622 and 8662 fones are all 802.3af compliant. The 8660 and 8690 are not.

That is the voltage for 802.3af, yes.

Correction. The 8660 fone IS 802.3af compliant.
