Forgive me if this question has already been asked, but couldn't find anything when searching for it. One of our offices has an extension which only rings the receptionist. They state this occurs when they pick up and try to dial an internal extension or outside number, pretty much do anything. They have a CICS 7.1 with star talk flash. I know the inter-tel\mitel systems have something similar to this, but only happens why you try to access voicemail. Does nortel have something similar to this that affects the entire phone or has it just lost it's mind?
Thanks in advance.

Does it dial the receptionist as soon as they go off hook? Phone would be set as a hot dial. If the only call they could complete when actually dialing is to the receptionist, then they have dialing restrictions.

There is probably a programmed Auto Dial button that is jammed/stuck....try to wiggle it free or spray with contact cleaner if sticky.
Another things is it could be programmed under Capabilities as Hotline to Internal to ext 221
