Ok guys we have a very strange thing going on with a customers system. When a caller calls in and reaches the voicemail the greeting plays 3 times back to back before it gives the caller the chance to leave a voicemail. any help?

Repeating 3x and then timing out to a transfer suggests that you have a flash VM. Check your number plan in your active CCR setting.

Yes, as MNDAVE states, it sounds like you have a flash voice mail card. This is normal if the caller does not select an option on the greeting. And to my knowledge, this cannot be changed.

The person calling in must make a selection or dial an extension otherwise it plays the greeting 2 more times. Its been awhile so I don't remember where it goes after the third greeting.

After 3 plays, it transfers to the operator by default. Operator is defined in the PBX parameters.
