I am playing around with a Samsung voice mail and notice that there is no expansion bulb in the card and have all four ports why? I also have been looking at the gateway programing under system wide parameters and have all of the places to insert the data to set it up the gateway and from what I have read the 4 will not do gateway? I was reading the setup for the gateway and there is a file located on the c:\msg that you can take a look at to see if the programing that you put in to the blocks are correct. I would like to know if you use port activity and a command to get to the C: prompt and the parameter to get there since there is no password?

I found in the manual that the system came with five subscriber mailboxes licensed from the factory. There are no mailboxes included with the SMVi I have so I would assume that this will not do the Gateway?

I found a way to get to the dos shell under shutdown system if this lets me deal with the system files there? If I take the system down to the shell where would I reboot it?

The SVMi2/4/400 don't support email gateway as they don't have a LAN port.

Just restart the svmi card after you shut it down to dos via its reset switch.

The 5 user license you are referring to is 5 mailboxes can be setup to email the message and/or notify via email of a message, not 5 mailboxes
