Remote phone smt-i5210 does not ring every time a call comes in
we have 10 of these some work great others do not.Light will flash but no ring.Other times ljght flashes and it rings. I have upgraded the system,oas card and tepria.

How are they connected back to the system? Via VPN or publicly registered?
What firmware are the phones running?
I wasn't aware that a new 4.6x firmware was out

I would imagine its a handset firmware issue.As nameless has asked which Version are the handsets running?
Nameless V4.63 is available for the 7100 & 7200s Only. I believe a release for the 7200 and 7400 is imminent.

The phones are publicly running and the versions are 1.36

I have had issues similar to what you have with same system and handset type, except my system was 4.46e then upgraded to 4.53c
I couldn't resolve it (changed routers, moved phones to dedicated adsl, etc) i ended up putting a system in with digital handsets at the remote site.
There seem to be issues with publicly registered smt handsets, to the point where i'm considering not doing them anymore, but insisting on vpn's

Did you try going backwards? Downgrade system and use older phones?Just curious. My customer is in another state and we have users in china,Malaysia,Texas,Florida,California and Arizona. The phone system is in Colorado with one local user
