Set up a virtual, DIL to the virtual, assign virtual key to each of the 5 phones, set your virtual ring assignment.

In the UM8000 setup a mailbox for the virtual.

You can also assign a 2nd key to each phone as a in-skin voice mail for the virtual, when a message is left the key will flash, press the key and your in that mailbox.

No, but you can have the cordless phone be the "virtualed" phone.

So instead of of having 500 be the virtual and appearng on all phones, you can have the cordless phone's extension number on the virtual buttons.

The only problem with having the cordless as the main phone for ringing is when someone is on the cordless it will not ring the Virtual key on the digital sets. I tried this one before did not work good for me..

Pity your using a UM8000. With the InMail you may have got it to work by sending the call to a ring group with all the stations in it with the RG no answer point being 102 going to a GP mailbox. When I get back to work next week I'll see what can be done with a UM8000

I am working on the same programming and I have the 9 locals in ring group and trying to get it to go to the supervisors voice mail box. I am using the InMail on this SV8100. I must be blind or it is late in the day as I am not finding the place to put in her local as the no answer point.

I had a play round today.

Have a look at the PDF below and see if it helps.
