We have Vodavi 3500 with VM and 2 DTIB cards, 16 stations of Vodavi Part # 3015 (24 button) and Part # 3012 (8 button). One morning, we walk in with all the workstations displayed "... No Sync".
We bought KSU board (3500). It did not work. Even the board is responding to reset, we cannot get station 100 where we can start programming.
I wonder what are our options now. Is there any Vodavi dealer here in Florida? Are our 3015 and 3012 will work with other KSU's if we do upgrade?
Thanks!

When you say that you "bought KSU board", does this mean that you bought a new KSU? Where did you buy it? Unless it is a 3500-01 or 3501-01, it won't support those phones. It requires gold software that was only available through authorized dealers.

If your customer had a power outage, its possible the backup battery is dead and it will cause this same situation. The backup battery lasts from 5-7 years. And it is soldered on the KSU board.
The KSU board is probably still good but you have to flip a dip switch on the board to initialize the system again. If you do flip the dip switch, it will wipe the database. If the database is scrambled, it wont come back up and you got nothing to lose with the switch.
Once again, this is just a possibility if you are not sure if the ksu is toast.
Tip and ring, the work of the devil!

We did nto buy new KSU board, but a used one. We did reset the database by ON/OFF of Dip Switch #8, also reset the system by reset button. Still the same. Yes, it could be a battery, but a technician we hired said the battery is to hold the programmed data only, it should give us station 100 regardless. We tried 3501 model yesterday (a third one) and still did not work.

Vodavi was bought out by Vertical several years ago. I know Dan at One Ring Telecom has quite a bit of Vodavi experience.
