I have a VODAVI Triad 2 system carded as follows left to right starting at slot 0 - DTIB24 - ETIB - ETIB - ETIB - OPEN - LCOB - LCOB - MISC - MPB and when I try to program another DTIB24 port card in the open slot (4) I get reorder tones. I can program the slot to any of the other cards. The slot had a ETIB card in it but, customer wants more digital telephones. I have a version 4.16 (thats what is on the eeproms) Would another DTIB24 port card put the count over the max for that system? I first programmed the slot to NONE then removed the ETIB card in that slot. Added the DTIB24 and the system would not accept the program. Also I do not have a expansion cabinet installed but, tried to program that card in any of the expansion slots and got the same result. Any idea's?

I am not sure on the Triad 2 model but if it similar to the Infinite series, I thought it was 72 station ports. I need to check my documentation.
It does not matter if you get the expansion cabinet. It won't make a difference in this situation.
Also confirm no other slots are programmed with station cards. If you use hyperterminal, do a dump slot to confirm no other slots are programmed. Even the expansion slots. Also. You might try a system reset after you null out the slot. Then try DTIB24 again. Try a DTIB12 as a test just to see if it takes, but then you only have 12 usable ports.

I seem to remember that the Triad 2 only allows for 60 stations. I had a customer with a DVX plus 2 that only allowed 60 stations, and one day I programmed a range of stations ( I used 000-072, thinking it held 72) and the system almost immediately locked up and stopped working all together. The only fix was to initialize and reprogram. So, be careful.

I'm not at the office, but I am confident that 60 keysets are max and that 12 more stations possible only if they are SLTs.
